This MLK Day, Greater DC Cares has a special opportunity for Ward 7 residents!
Fort Davis Community Center
The Fort Davis Community Center serves over 150 youth, adults and seniors weekly through their programs and activities. Fort Davis is open Monday-Friday and provides free recreation activities to DC residents. The center has a full court indoor gym along with meeting rooms, a teen's room, a reading room and so much more to offer the community.
Volunteers will repaint doors and touch up the paint work in the gym. They will also organize the books in the reading room and create bookcover murals to place on the walls.
